Our Story

The Bakehouse began with a simple idea – bring honest, fresh food and great coffee to the East Tāmaki community.


What started as a small neighbourhood bakery has grown into a full café and kitchen serving everything from flaky pies and toasted sandwiches to handcrafted pizzas and premium coffee.

We’re proud to be part of Auckland’s East Tāmaki and Highbrook area – a place full of hardworking locals, tradies, and families who appreciate good food made fresh every day.
